To be honest, I had a hard time reading this book at night before going to sleep. It is not for the faint of heart and has a way of sticking with you. This book is not for sheer entertainment and you don't have to believe everything you read. HOWEVER, if you are a skeptic now, I promise this book will change your mind.Ed and Lorrain Warren, rest their souls, will be greatly missed. I absolutely love The Conjuring franchise and The Warrens. I went to see The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It and I was so intrigued by this very complex, dangerous, and sinister case of Ed and Lorraine’s - not to mention terrified! The movie was great and was very different from the first two. Just like the film, this book explores the demonic, murder, Satanism, cults, and the dark side of spirituality. The case of Arne Johnson is very alluring and I truly believe his story of murder via demonic possession, since there were so many witnesses who swore he was possessed, and since Arne never had a history of violence or mental illness prior to the murder. Ed and Lorraine Warren, who I love and look up to very much, we’re heavily involved in the case and did everything they could to help this young man get off as easy as possible…and they truly succeeded. However, they had to go through terrifying and diabolical obstacles first. “The Devil in Connecticut” is a very intriguing, chilling, informative, and downright scary true story of one of The Warrens’ most sinister cases. I’m so glad the film brought this book back in print so the world can know about the demonic. Definitely a very well-worth read to say the least!FIVE STARS!
